New members welcome.  We are also happy to include occasional, or one-off visitors.

Do you enjoy a good read and like to share the experience with other people?

The Library Book Group embraces a broad range of reading with something for everyone to enjoy ... the emphasis is on enthusiastic chat, shared discoveries, trying new ideas and lots of warmth and laughter. No one has to finish a book if they're not enjoying it, or even start!  It's ok to read something else or watch the film instead.

We usually share a title to discuss each month,  but we also have a general book talk meeting occasionally to plan our future reading choices.  We each bring our own ideas and suggestions for shared reading and conversation - we always try to keep the cost affordable, and choose titles available in Leicestershire or City of Leicester libraries.  Since we formed, we've touched ground on every continent except Antarctica, and time-travelled across several centuries.  Let's enjoy the journey together.
